The Telescope Digital Collection 1933-1941
Sky & Telescope magazine began as the union of two magazines published during the 1930s and early 40s: The Sky and The Telescope. The Telescope was founded at Perkins Observatory near Columbus, Ohio, in 1931. This magazine featured mostly professional astronomers writing about the cutting-edge scientific topics of their era for a popular audience. The Telescope moved to the Harvard College Observatory in 1934. The DVD archive consists of all 48 issues published after the move to Harvard.
